How we verify
Independent research, verified at source.
We combine independent research with information obtained directly from the founder. Our research draws on authoritative public sources, including corporate and regulatory records, court and insolvency databases, professional registers, media and other reliable sources.
Where relevant, we also ask the founder to provide official records that are not publicly accessible, such as evidence of employment history, qualifications or a criminal-record extract.
The sources reviewed depend on the founder’s background, jurisdictions and the questions relevant to the investment.
FounderDD uses AI-assisted research tools to efficiently review and cross-reference information. Findings are then individually assessed, verified where possible and placed in context before inclusion in the report.

The reviewed employment records indicate a fixed-term contractor engagement of nine months, whereas the CV and investor deck describe a three-year senior in-house position. The discrepancy is consistent across the documents reviewed and should be reconciled before the founder narrative is relied upon.
